One Barnstaple
One Barnstaple is a partnership of local voluntary, community and public service organisations in Barnstaple. One Barnstaple is part of One Northern Devon which is working to improve wellbeing for the people and communities of North Devon and Torridge.
Barnstaple Town Council are one of the main partners involved and are delighted to support the work of One Barnstaple.
Their vision is:

Projects:
Flow Project
The One Barnstaple Flow project aims to encourage and support organisations from the public, community and voluntary sector to understand how best to holistically support individuals with complex needs by tailoring what they offer to that individual’s needs. Professionals first begin with trying to understand individuals, their aspirations and the circumstances that will help and hinder them in reaching those aspirations.
After jointly creating a plan to address issues that are important to the individual recognising the support they may be able to call on in the form of a family member, friend or neighbour, the professional may also pull in support from other agencies in a ‘team around the individual’ approach. If the professional is unaware of or doesn’t know how to access support, they may contact the Flow Wellbeing Co-ordinator who can make wider connections within the community.
