Barnstaple Guildhall

Welcome

Welcome to the Barnstaple Town Council website.

The role of the Town Council is to ensure Barnstaple is a thriving community and a healthy, vibrant and attractive place in which to work, live and visit. The Town Council does this by working collaboratively, not only as an ambitious and committed team of Councillors and Officers, but also with a range of external strategic partners.

This website has been designed to provide information that we hope will be a helpful resource, particularly in finding out more about what’s happening within the Council and the wider community.

Barnstaple Town Council is a parish council, representing the first tier of local government and, as such, is “closer to residents” providing a wide range of services and facilities including the Rock Park, maintenance of green spaces and heritage and community activities.

This website is a further resource for our community development and support through:

  • Involving local people more in what is happening in the community
  • Improving communication
  • Engaging everyone in local issues, by providing you with more information

If you have any questions you can get in touch via our CONTACT PAGE

Thank you.
