Victorian Offer
Explore Victorian Barnstaple with an insight into what life would have been like for children 200 years ago. Includes artefact handling and a town tour to learn about the people and the buildings of Victorian Barnstaple. Then choose between either a Victorian classroom experience at St Anne’s Chapel, or a Courtroom Drama session at the Guildhall, bringing the people and places to life!
Suitable for:
- KS1 classes looking to develop an awareness of the past and of significant places in their own locality.
- KS2 classes wishing to include Victorian Barnstaple as part of their local history study.
