As well as activities and events provided by the Council, we wish to work in partnership with local community groups, charities, and individuals to make our unique spaces available for use by the community and for the community.
If you are planning an event and you are looking for a versatile and unique space to host it in, please contact us to discuss how Barnstaple Town Council can help you.

Previous Events
24th – 26th August: The Guildhall held its first ever Maritime Exhibition, which proved a great success with hundreds of locals and tourists taking the chance to see it. Working in collaboration with a number of local museums, the exhibition featured historical accounts and artefacts dating back many centuries and covering a wide range of topics.
18th July: Laura from Makeup Devon hosted a free Makeup Masterclass in the Guildhall, sharing tips and tricks on all things skincare and makeup.
29th & 30th June: Art students from Pilton visited the Guildhall to study our impressive collection of paintings and practice their own portraiture skills. The students were given the chance to dress up in judge’s robes and wigs and pose for photos that they would then use for their art GCSE.
