Farewell to three Notable People

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of three most notable people who have played such a big part in Barnstaple and the Barnstaple Town Council.

Anne Jenkins – Town Clerk from 2004 to 2014, passed away 9th March

Ian Scott – Town Councillor, Mayor 1980 and 1993-94 and Honorary Burgess, passed away 12th March

Bruce Vernon – Town Councillor and Honorary Burgess, passed away 22nd March
